and proceedings to achieve lean processes and systems.

The presentation focus on the key elements of a production system and their further development. Specific the body in white production areas are in a big culture change process, where needed new innovations and control systems. Chapter 1 show the plant and same key dates. In chapter 2 we see the most important elements of FPS and their specifics for body in white.

Following by the basic concept and the way to implement and to use a master schedule creation. Start with current state map and use further state mapping system for reduction of stock and to improve your process. In Chapter 4 the new Logistic concept, finally the FTPM Process and see example for benefit.


Vitae

Klaus Minninger studied electrical engineering, he started his carreer as hardware maintenance group manager at one of the biggest steel manufacturers in Europe. Since 1980 he worked at Ford Motor Company beginning as maintenance manager body shell work/pressing and then as the plant area manager pressing and body plant.

Then additional he was responsible for implementation and auditing of TPM in both its own plants and all European plants of Ford, Jaguar and Land Rover. Just now he works together with Prof. Schmidt for car makers in Europe to implement new production systems.
