Robust launch and product design processes are key elements and can influence directly the final quality of the product and failure free deliveries. Here we have to design the strategies for the product and production processes by a total lifecycle like process. Thecondly we have to look to the energy efficiency in the product design phase and the supplier Integration process and cost Improvement Process.
If we concentrate to the key elements for healthy projects like quality, cost and timing, we can improving own competitiveness means and also improvement of our suppliers. A constant cost reduction and cost optimization is necessary from the design phase up to the end of production in order to improve the profitability and Quality and meanwhile generating new innovations. The speech will show how a multicultural company tackels the challenges in 2010 to 2014 for global suppliers.

Levente Tibori, born in 1964, is director Global Engineering at the SMR an Indian supplier group and with the plant in Hungary one of the biggest suppliers for automotive mirror systems (formerly Schefenacker). There he is responsible worldwide for the development and production introduction of all the products of the firm group.
A special challenge for Levente Tibori is the construction of engineering competence in East Europe and the new adjustment of cost-optimized products and processes in the European locations.t.
