Process oriented policy deployment – Elements, success factors and examples to achieve business excellence in the supply chain.

For many years the trend recognizable in the automobile industry further continues. The number of the manufacturers further goes back – there are, in the meantime, only 10 big manufacturers in the world – the number of the variations rises rapidly. Most of the manufacturers have actual more than 100 models on offer. With it also change the customer wishes. On the one hand as quickly as possible fulfilment of his wishes, on the other hand, for a low price. Therefore, more and more the whole Supply-Chain is aimed to reach this purpose.

An organizational measure is the implementing of Production-Systems, i.e. resources are used for achievements which needs next in the process. I.e. the customer, whether intern or extern, certain the output and with it the application of resources.

The presentation deals with the successful factors of Production-Systems. What are the elements and tools and what are the Soft-Facts of successful systems. What are the leadership mechanisms to lead such organizations permanently successfully.


Vitae

Manfred Janke after his study he starts 1976 at Bosch to implement a new controlling system to improve productivity and transparency. After additional controlling responsibilities in the automotive business unit, 1979 to 1984 he was responsible for IT and Controlling in the strategic injection pump plant in Bursa (Turkey), including the Controlling for Aftermarket.

Back to Germany M. Janke get the responsibility for the logistics department for car injection pumps in the lead plant Bosch Homburg. In this areas he designed the new logistics processes internal (logistics center) and to customers and suppliers.
