The challenge that we are facing now and in the future is a quick expansion of our company. One of our targets is to produce the best lights for the best cars of the world. What is World Class Manufacturing for Odelo Slovenija? World Class Manufacturing is like an umbrella for all our tools, methods and models on our way to the best of class. One of the models is the lean logistic with his components and it is also conjoined to the Odelo production system with all its lean methods and components.
With implementing the lean in the processes in the production and in the logistic we could optimize the supply of material from the production all the way to the suppliers. Standardizing an improving our processes provide us a stability in our quick expansion and our fundament in the logistic to achieve our vision best in class.
Vitae
Peter Kovse is currently responsible for the Logistics and IT, at the tail lamp manufacturer Odelo in Slovenia (formerly Schefenacker) one of the biggest suppliers for lightening systems worldwide for the automotive industry. He is responsible also for the plant layout, all material and data flow.
In his years working at Odelo he started in the Logistics Customer Center, Supply Chain Management and as ERP Key user, later responsible for the team Logistics planning. A great challenge for him was and still is the planning and implementing of new processes and requirements for the growing of the plant in Prebold (Slovenia).
