Prof. Dr. Andrea Lochmahr studied business sciences at the University of Regensburg and worked then 12 years at the Audi AG in various positions. At last she was particularly responsible for the strategic direction of Audi logistics. She received her doctorate in operations research on the topic of automotive margin systems.
Since 2008 she is professor at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart and teaches in different courses logistics, purchasing management and operations research.
She is active in numerous logistics networks as a scientific consultant and technical expert, for example the working group automotive (AKJ Germany) or the logistics cluster of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (Baden-Württemberg). Her research focuses are lean logistics concepts, supply chain management and green automotive logistics.
